Our homeschool journey began in April 2012. It was a road less traveled. I was a single parent with two kids. Back then most homeschool families were two parent homes. I knew it was the best choice for our family though and we made it work.

In the beginning, I worried about the struggles and if my decision would mess them up for life. However, as time went on, I realized that my choice was the correct one and both kids thrived with homeschool. As a family, we enjoyed our time together. It allowed us to create memories that will last for a lifetime. Both kids are now young adults and doing well with their lives.

I created Homeschool On The Christian Journey to provide for my family due to health issues and disabilities that have left me unable to work a regular job.
